Welcome to James Bowie Elementary School, the only service-learning pilot school of innovation. James Bowie Elementary has become one of the most outstanding elementary schools in Dallas ISD. The school prides itself on providing students with educational experiences that transcend the standard model. In addition to the standard TEK-based curriculum, Bobcats engage in service-learning projects that develop their student agency while teaching them how to positively impact their community. It is our priority to engage our students in highly interactive and rigorous activities that promote equity and confidence through culturally relevant lessons.
