Tutoring / Attendance

 

Tutoring will be provided for students in need after school, normally on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00 p.m.  If a student needs tutoring, the teacher will make contact with parents and ask them to fill in a permission form as well as provide dismissal details.

 

 

Attendance is very important for all grade levels.  For that reason, please send doctor or parent notes to the front office after students' sick days to receive an "excused absence" for your child.  

 

Students who have 5 absences or more will receive calls or letters about their attendance.  In the event that students miss a significant number of days, parents will be asked to come to a conference at school and will be offered a principal's plan for credit so that students do not fall behind or fail for the school year.  Students must have passing grades to qualify for a principal plan for credit.
